Fastener Manufactures Association of India
(Regd.) previously known as Ludhiana Nut Bolt Mfrs. Association
was established in June, 1971 when the Fastener items were brought
under the Central Excise net. At the starting very few members were
on roll. With the Sincere efforts of the founder members and the
office bearers the association took an office at Partap Nagar on
Rent. The association progressed by leaps and bounds and purchased
a plot for its own office at Focal Point, Ludhiana. The office building
was completed in the year 1999 and at present the association is
having its well furnished own office with hardworking efficient
staff. All the technical books have been kept in the office. for
the help of the members. The office is equipped with Computer with
Internet facility and Photostat Machine. The Association is also
having a separate well equipped and well furnished conference room
for conducting the Executive Body meetings and other important meetings.
At present the association is having about 300 members on roll scattered
all over the country. More than 60 members have taken ISO Certification
and equal number of units are exporting products to various countries
which are very well accepted in the overseas markets. The Association
has also successfully participated in various International Trade
Exhibitions in foreign Countries. The association is very well recognized
in various Central as well as state Government Departments and invited
in all the important meetings of these departments
